The feelings I have for you I can’t ignore
As each day passes I cherish you more and more

You’re the peaches to my cream the root to my seed
Other than you there’s nothing else I will ever need

You’re the air that I breathe the water that I drink
The thought of loosing you is one I never think

I would’ve never guessed that these feelings exists

Broken Hearted
I’m lonely and my heart is broken in two
I keep asking myself just what will I do
He smiled in my face then played me like a game
To keep him I put my whole family to shame
I want to cry but I ask myself why
When all he well do is feed more lies
He says that he loves me and I love him too
But his action allows his true feelings to show through
I have to move on is what I’m told
But it’s easier said than done because the has his hold
The only way is to tear myself away
Even though this will hurt I’ll die if I stay
When in his presence things feel so right
But in the back of my mind I know our plight
So again broken hearted and though I dread this I know
If you really love someone sometimes you have to let them go…

What do you do
when the people you love don't love you
When the people you respect don't have the same for you at all
And could care less if you stumble and fall
What do you do
When the people you adore don't care about you
When the people you would sacrifice anything for
Just brush you away and practically ignore
Tell me what to do
To make them understand
That I care for them
I respect them
I adore them
I love them
Until they realize the strength of my feelings
I'll be right here waiting, praying, weeping...

Repetition: using a word more than once
The Boondocks: “The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence”
{Rumy repeats absence and evidence to convey that just because something isn’t there doesn’t mean another element is disproved.}
“There are known knowns and there are known unknowns, but there’s also unknown unknowns; things that we don’t know”
{Rumy repeats known and unknown to convey that you never know how something will turn out.}
Similie: a comparison of two objects using like or as.
The Boondocks: “Bout as funny as a lynching”
{Riley uses as to compare something’s humor to a lynching.}
The Simpsons: “Its like something out of that twighlighty show about that zone.”
{Homer uses like to compare something to the Twighlight Zone.}
Rocket Man By Elton John: “And I’m gonna be high as a kite by then”
{The speaker in this song compares himself in a plane to the height of a kite using as.}
Irony: words that say one thing but mean another.
The Simpsons: “I am so smart, I am so smart, s-m-r-t… I mean s-m-A-r-t.”
{Homer says he’s smart but spells smart wrong.}
Oxymoron: words that obviously contradict each other.

{Homer says he’s not a supervising technician, but contradicts that by saying he is a technical supervisor.}
The Simpsons: “Shut up, Brian, or I’ll stab you with a Q-tip!”
{Homer says that he will stab Brian with a Q-tip when, in fact, a Q-tip would do no damage.}
Someone’s Last Song By Elton John: “And I’ve drunk myself sober.”
{The speaker in this song says that he drank until he was sober, yet this is impossible to do unless he drank himself to death.}
